Bug is a bi-monthly music video showcase that takes place at the British Film Institue, in London. For June they did a special on Massive Attack. I was asked to create a short intro sequence for the showcase featuring clips from their most famous videos. In only four days I rigged, animated, rendered and composited this little beastie to crawl across a television screen. There are a number of things that I would love to change given more time, the texturing needs work, and some additional modeling would help too. I am not much of a rigger so found this aspect of the project a fun challenge. I used the helpful set driven keys technique described by Jan Sandstrom. I hope this is the first in of collaborations with Bug and Locomotion Productions whom I worked for on this.
